CCPA Notice
Last Updated: 1 September, 2024

This California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Notice serves as an essential supplement to MaxGuard’s Privacy Policy and is specifically designed to provide comprehensive information to residents of California regarding the collection, utilization, and safeguarding of their personal information by MaxGuard. It is applicable to all individuals who are California residents and engage with MaxGuard’s Platform and Services, including visitors, participants, customers, and users. Any terminologies used in this notice that are undefined herein shall carry the meanings ascribed to them in the aforementioned agreements.

The CCPA is an extensive privacy legislation that grants various privacy rights to consumers in California. Among its provisions, the CCPA empowers California residents with the right to opt out of the “sale” of their “personal information” by ensuring a prominent “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link is available on the website of the party involved in such data transactions. It’s worth noting that the CCPA recognizes certain exceptions to the definition of “sale,” such as transfers to “service providers.”

The purpose of this notice is to furnish California consumers with additional insights into the collection and utilization of their Personal Information by MaxGuard.
